We are seeking a Senior LINUX/Solaris Systems Administrator to join our RedHat LINUX/Solaris Server Operations Team
Describe the consultant role:
Senior LINUX/Solaris Systems Administrator working with a team that provides day-to-day support, request fulfillment, and systems integration activities covering our global RedHat LINUX/Solaris server deployments.
Candidate must be familiar with the day-to-day operational issues surrounding various business computer technologies within the banking and finance industry or equivalent.
Candidate should be familiar with other operational disciplines such as project management, problem management, change management, networking, systems monitoring, server backups/restores, and multi-platform integration/communication.
Typical workweek involves onsite coverage during normal business hours and an on-call/weekend work rotation schedule shared between 3 systems administrators.
The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Onsite support coverage during business hours, on-call support rotation (shared by 3 admins), weekend and weeknight work should be expected, respond/investigate reported incidents, fulfill requests for services, perform routine system maintenance, provision servers, manage infrastructure projects, represent RedHat LINUX/Solaris admin team covering business initiatives, create/maintain support documentation, perform routine systems conformance/capacity validation.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
