Challenging new position for the seasoned Sales Engineer with HVAC solutions experience.
This position can be located anywhere in the eastern part of the U.
S.
that is near a major airport.
Responsibilities:
Build sales for the Region, training Sales Engineers and closing dealsMeet or exceed personal annual sales budgetMaintain and build relationships with Strategic Contacts (Sales Reps, leading engineers, architects, equipment suppliers)Support Sales Reps to expand sales and prepare sales proposals and bidsCommunicate customer technical, business and logistics needs so that internal resources can be properly prioritizedMaintain prospect records with emphasis on contacts, scheduled meetings, call reports and important documentsForecast sales revenue and update on a regular basisManage travel expense and prepare and present commercial and technical sales proposals with or without the assistance of engineeringUse creativity and experience to assist in creating a vision of how our system applies to a particular prospect's buildingContinuous self-learning and researchREQUIREMENTS:

years of sales experience and skills, preferably Solution SellingSolid understanding of HVAC systems (central plant and unitary systems)Knowledge of ground-source HVAC is a strong plusWilling to travel (approximately 50% of the time)Knowledge and experience in the building construction industry and/or knowledge of building automation and temperature control systemsDesirable - relationships in the HVAC market that can be used to build credibility and market awareness.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
