Job Description:
Production Graphic Artist / Printer
Design and prepare graphics for print and promotional products.
Work closely with the art director, graphic designers and sampling department in a fast-paced environment
Operate and maintain in-house sublimation printers, order supplies for the department and submit work orders on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Produce high quality print-ready files for preflight/prepress process
- Operate and maintain multiple sublimation printers
- Color-match inks and materials
- Submit work orders to sampling / production
- Adhere to brand and project style guidelines
- Quickly revise dimensions, copy or imagery on art files
- Effectively communicate project status, challenges or issues with operations team and fellow colleagues
- Photoshop retouching / typesetting
- Continually refine production workflow to increase efficiency and ensure timely delivery
Requirements:
- 2
years experience in print production in agency or in-house environment.
- Associate or bachelor degree is preferred
- Experience as a graphic artist in a promotional / printing industry is preferred
- Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong customer service and communication skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
