Petroleum Lab Tech
Use in depth knowledge of industrial gas, specialty gas, and medical gas, and complex instruments, to determine quality and purity of the raw material (supply gases) and the end product (cylinder gases) before they are distributed to customers.
Perform work duties in accordance with company policies, ISO 9001 procedures and applicable DOT, OSHA, and FDA regulations.

Conduct routine and non-routine analyses by using proper instruments for specific analysis requiring TCD, FID, DID, PDHID, etc.

Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data 1.
Prepare all instruments for daily analysis, making sure all required support gases are in place 1.
Coordinate daily production including specialty gases based on prepared mixture calculations.
Manage and monitor inventory of specialty gas, industry gas and medical gases for plant.

Prepare all certifications required for gases for next day delivery to customers o 4-year college degree in Science or Chemistry required.
