Position
Summary:
Applicant must have a strong operational mindset and customer-centric focus.
Must be self-motivated and have effective time management, the ability to operate independently but also partner with others when needed, thrive in a changing environment, and able to encourage other team members to share these traits.
Sharp focus on customer service with individuals both inside and outside the company.
Lead and implement process improvement projects while leveraging automation capabilities.
Duties/Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the lumber yard operations, including management, staff supervision, and customer service.
Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and other relevant data.
Schedule all deliveries and check that items are loaded and correct.
Required Skills/Abilities Strong leadership and communications skills.
Epicor business software experience is a plus but not required.
Computer literacy and knowledge of current office technology including Microsoft Office Ability to hire, train, motivate, and supervise exceptional employees.
Experience At least 5 years of operations management experience, including at least 2 years of branch management and leadership experience.
Management and leadership experience in lumber and building materials or a related industry is preferred.
