Job Description:
Experienced professional with proficient knowledge of job area and practical knowledge of project/program management.
May manage programs with general supervision.
Communicates with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures.
Recommends enhancements to systems and processes.
Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results.
Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
Drives program execution in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs.
Essential Functions:
oResponsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs oParticipates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes oCoordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract oActs as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance Expands the product line with the customer oEstablishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, and test oEstablishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program issues and obtains solutions, such as allocating resources or changing contractual specifications oDirects the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas
Qualifications:
oBachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience Preferred Additional Skills:
oExperience planning, scheduling, organizing, and directing oObjective thinker, with ability to solve highly complex problems with significant business impact oProblem solver with ability to execute challenging tasks to completion oPMP certification oSecret Clearance oSix Sigma certification oAble to provide/reinforce the credibility and commitment of L3Harris at appropriate executive levels within the customer community oUnderstanding of the customer procurement processes and government funding approval oAbility to make effective decisions regarding the profitability and achievability of pursuits oSolid technical background with strong business acumen oObjective thinker, problem solver with ability to execute challenging tasks to completion oAble to provide/reinforce the credibility and commitment of Harris at appropriate levels in customer community oAbility to organize and coordinate customer visits participation in appropriate symposiums and trade shows oAbility to work with other Program Managers, Business Development Managers, Product Lines and Engineering functions oAbility to communicate in a thorough, clear and timely manner which supports information sharing and goal achievement oCan develop broad, cooperative relationships with numerous groups and individuals, even when having no direct authority over them oExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills oExperience planning, organizing, and leading a development team Job Profile Matching Criteria:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
