As a Logistics Specialist insert job title you will work with the team to manage performance/cost KPI's for outbound ecommerce parcels. This helps our client meet performance SLA and cost targets. The Job:
Maintain performance, cost KPIs and perform analysis on all existing carriers for weekly reporting and perform Quarterly business review with vendors.
Maintain regular contact with existing freight carriers and PB transportation supervisors to manage day to day shipping schedule and ensure that freight loads are moving as scheduled.
Develop and implement best practices for logistics processes (ground line haul and air freight) in order to ensure optimization and quality.
Based on forecast, manage capacity planning with freight carriers and fulfillment center to maintain readiness for weekly/monthly & quarterly capacity.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for each country launched and its respective carriers for each fulfillment center.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics.
Minimum of 3 years of Logistics/Supply chain management experience in transportation, distribution and/or freight management.
Working knowledge of MS Office suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and integrated software applications.
Superior organizational skills and ability to perform detailed analysis are required.
Excellent communication and presentation skills along with high integrity.
